John Bechard, President & CEO

John Bechard is Piracle’s President/ CEO and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. John joined Piracle August 2009 and is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the company. He oversees company performance and financial management, as well as maintains responsibility for company policy and strategy implementation. Prior to joining Piracle John was the Founder, President/ CEO of Gift Card Solutions (GCS). GCS was acquired by Ceridian, Inc. in 2006 and they employed John until Jan. 2008. Prior to founding GCS John spent three years as the Executive Vice President of Create A Check, Inc. (Piracle) and eleven years in sales and management roles with Automatic Data Processing, Inc. (ADP). John holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing Management from Cal Poly Pomona University and a Masters of Business Administration from California Lutheran University.

Lynn Shimada, Corporate Vice President

As employee number one and the initial developer of the Create-A-Check system, Lynn is now in charge of product research and development. His 34 years of experience in the banking and accounting industry include 14 years with BMA, one of the largest banking service bureaus in the Intermountain region. Before joining Create-A-Check, Shimada was co-founder of another software development company that provided applications for financial institutions. Lynn holds a bachelors degree from The School of Accounting at the David Eccles School of Business, University of Utah.

John Hanousek, COO

John Hanousek has over 25 years of experience with specific expertise in leading new businesses, investments, business modeling, alliance management plus service and product marketing and sales. John is currently an executive consultant to companies that include alternative energy, digital content systems and software, mobile applications, payment solutions and commercial real estate. He is also working with early stage companies in the Northwest as the Chair of the Boise Angel Fund Screening Committee. John Served as Director at Hewlett Packard for eight of his twenty years at the firm, the last six as a Director of New Business where he led worldwide teams who were responsible for creating new businesses in the Imaging and Printing Hardware and Services business units. During the late 1990’s, John was a principal at Apexx Technology, an Internet mail and security company that became listed on NASDAQ via a merger with ESoft. Prior to that, John worked for Bank of Boston in asset-based financing. John has served in board positions for commercial entities and non-profits including Inovus Solar, Thorton Oliver Keller, The Idaho Association of Industry and Commerce, Girl Scouts and the Hewlett Packard Political Advisory Committee. John holds an MBA from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Sciences in Finance from Boston College. He has recently attended Harvard’s ongoing Executive Educational Program.

Kandice Lambert, Controller

Kandice Lambert joined Piracle in May 2012 and is responsible for financial statement management, human resources, and office management. From May 2001 to January 2008, Lambert worked as the Bookkeeper for Jerry Lambert Automotive in Salt Lake City, Utah. After graduating from college, Lambert became a Professional Business Advisor for Squire in Orem, Utah from May 2010 to May 2012. In that time she also served as a valued member of Squire’s recruiting committee. Lambert served as a Student Campus Ambassador during the 2009 school year and has been a member of the UACPA ever since. In 2010, she received the UACPA Rising Star Award for demonstrating leadership through work with the UACPA’s ProNet Council. Lambert currently serves as the University of Utah Liaison for the ProNet Council Campus Ambassador Program. She holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and in March 2012, she became a Certified Public Accountant.

John Reid, Software Development Manager

John Reid has over 25 years of experience in software development with expertise in localization and financial systems. Reid is responsible for the development of new software products and maintaining and updating Piracle’s current products. Prior to joining Piracle, Reid worked with Fidelity Investments in their Active Trader group where he added key investment and economic indicators to their Wealth-Pro product. Reid also worked with Novell in their Internationalization and Localization department where he led a team of internationalization engineers consulting on Novell products, developed international standards used extensively throughout the localization industry, and led numerous development efforts. Reid has a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Utah.
